  2. A Substantial Proportion: According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), at least 1 in 4 (50% in some markets) of all home sellers in the United States are seniors. This statistic alone showcases the vastness of the senior market. Moreover, in specific cities and regions, this percentage is even higher.
  3. Deep Roots: Approximately 50% of people aged 65 or older have resided in the same house for over 20 years, with some living in their homes for 40 years or more. This demonstrates the strong emotional attachment seniors have to their homes, creating unique challenges and opportunities when selling.

Bonus Info: A recent update shows that approximately 105,000 people in the United States are 100 years or older. The fact that people are living healthier, longer lives indicates a growing demand for specialized services for the senior population.
