Nikki Buckelew, Ph.D.

Co-Founder and CEO

I am a full-time coach, trainer, speaker, and real estate broker dedicated to serving senior adults, caregivers, and professionals in the disciplines of real estate, senior living, and aging.

My personal mission is to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to consider new ways of thinking and behaving, so they can experience new and better results, both in the current and next chapters of life.

Over the past two decades, I have taken an active stance toward helping individuals, both young and old, embrace a more positive view of the aging process. Challenging outdated beliefs and stereotypes surrounding age in today's society, I encourage people to consider new paradigms about aging and to live each day with purpose and passion, regardless of the age printed on their driver's license.

People often tell me they appreciate my direct and candid approach to these issues, as well as my sense of humor -- something that is often beneficial and necessary when dealing with pressing or difficult topics.

A little about my background…

After 10 years in the real estate industry and blessed with an abundance of professional success (by industry standards anyway), I found myself fascinated by and impassioned about serving the growing senior adult demographic.

Having completed a B.A. in Family Studies and Gerontology, M.S. in Counseling Psychology and 3000 hours of geriatric counseling, my 10-year real estate business made a natural turn. Together with my husband, Chris, we pioneered one of the first successful senior move management companies in the U.S. – serving the senior adult market by catering to their needs for relocating or downsizing at a pivotal time in their lives.

Five years later, after 15+ total years of owning and operating a mega real estate business and senior move management company serving over 120 clients annually, we sold the businesses and moved on to pursue our passions in the coaching and training fields.

Having logged thousands of personal coaching and classroom hours in the areas of sales, leadership, real estate, and senior housing since 2008, my husband Chris and I made the easy decision to formally launch the Seniors Real Estate Institute and focus our attention on helping like-minded real estate professionals grow their businesses by serving seniors at the highest levels.

In 2018 I earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Northcentral University with my doctoral research focusing on how older couples make downsizing decisions. My personal research and that of countless other scholars and clinicians serve to inform and guide our work at the Seniors Real Estate Institute.

Chris Buckelew, BBA

In partnership with his wife, Nikki, Chris built a mega real estate sales team at a young age and proceeded to found one of the first senior move management companies in the country, complimenting the couple's 55+ focused seniors real estate sales business.

Realizing that his success breakthroughs were far from typical, Chris was inspired to enter the coaching field where he began sharing his system for achievement with other professionals looking to redirect or accelerate their success trajectory. He quickly built a reputation as a “next-level” coach, combining a distinct blend of insight and pragmatism to help clients overcome perceived obstacles to their next great achievement.

His aptitude for technology, negotiation and management led him to a stint in the corporate realm, where he oversaw operations at Keller Williams Realty International (KWRI) for the MAPS Coaching division, tripling revenue during his three year tenure.

Currently as Chief Operating Officer, Chris is at the helm of the SREI infrastructure, where he oversees operations, technology and new products designed to provide real estate professional with the edge to thrive within a rapidly shifting demographic environment. He also continues to coach individual clients toward their highest tiers of success.

In addition to his role at the Seniors Real Estate Institute, Chris continues to serve as the chief operations officer and negotiations specialist for his local real estate sales team, OKC Mature Moves Real Estate Services, affiliated with Keller Williams Realty Platinum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In his free time, Chris can be found adventuring with his wife, Nikki, and their family and friends on their boat, scuba diving, and enjoying fun in the sun around the pool.

A native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Chris earned his Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma.
