Shannon Stiger Honored as 2024 Legacy Leader at SREI’s 10th Annual Legacy Conference in Oklahoma City,
At the 10th Annual Legacy Conference held at the historic National Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, Shannon Stiger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was honored as the 2024 Legacy Leader Award recipient. The announcement, delivered by the 2023 recipient, Mary Eikenberry, of Des Moines, Iowa, came during a moving moment of recognition among peers and colleagues who deeply value service, leadership, and community impact.
Shannon, a full-time licensed real estate professional since 2015, earned her Certification as a Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) in 2016. Since then, she has become widely known for her exceptional dedication—not only to her clients, but also to the mission and members of the Seniors Real Estate Institute (SREI).
She has served for multiple years on the Legacy Conference committee, investing her time and energy into shaping the very event where she was honored. As a member of the SREI Membership Council, Shannon plays a critical role in interviewing, evaluating, and approving new CSHP candidates—helping ensure that the high standards of our professional community are consistently upheld.
What truly sets Shannon apart, however, is her generosity in supporting others. She mentors new CSHPs, collaborates with seasoned professionals on mastermind calls, and remains a steady, trusted voice for anyone seeking guidance.
Her leadership extends well beyond SREI and into her local community. Shannon has led hundreds of free community education seminars and workshops—moderating, presenting, and serving on expert panels. She actively volunteers with area nonprofits, participates in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and helps lead GIFT workshops through VillagesOKC. Through it all, she continues to work one-on-one with older adult clients and their families, guiding them through the emotional and often complex process of downsizing and relocation.
Shannon embodies what it means to be a Legacy Leader: a professional who not only excels in her work, but uplifts others and gives back with purpose.
